.that's what made me realize what a mess Katrina has made of the Gulf states. It was a distance of only 17 miles but the devastation was huge.

Unfortunately, the devastation shown in that video omitted the worst of it -- an entire major city under six feet of water. Almost certainly, the death toll will rise into the thousands as the focus turns from trying to save lives to one of trying to recover the dead.
