The ones that could make a difference turned their backs and let the mediocrities take over.

I've noted before that we ALL have to ask ourselves what type of person really is willing to put themselves and their families through the gristmill that politics today has become.

Look at John Roberts, just as a "for instance..." Just look and see and hear all the claptrap that is being said, and trying to be dug up on this man who has been nominated for the highest court in the land. Including the New York Times trying to have unsealed the adoption papers on his children.

The media have gone TOO FAR in their pursuit of trying to destroy a person's life through innuendo, and we have gone too far by allowing them to do it. After all, most of us are standing by silently and not saying one word to them, of their totally politicized actions.
