An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Understand, those that choose to stay will get help, as it can get to them. And they had plenty of warning, so they are at fault for not heeding the warning, no way around it.

The navy is sending ships & resources that will be of huge help, and prolly the best way to base efforts until things drain down a bit.

So they are doing it, but rescue/relief efforts do not work on internet time, regardless what party holds power.
