Icebrg....some areas are already at $3 or very close to it. This coming weekend is a big end of summer holiday for the US....gas prices always rise going into any holiday, only this time there are other issues. What % of your gas price is actually taxes? What would you be paying for gas without taxes? I guess that is one of the problems with socialist economies. The government mandates high taxes and citizens have no alternative but to pay ransom.
