NPR just interviewed a guy on the telephone. He stayed in the French Quarter, and says flooding not too bad where he is. He also said he went out last night to try to find a working pay phone. Some guys came up and started trying to jimmy the door on an ice machine in the parking lot. Three guys with automatics came up, shoted "martial law, get out of here," and the guys hightailed it.
