OT: >>still kinda stunned at the destruction in my old Southern stomping grounds....)<< It IS pretty shocking. The amount of devastation seems to be drastically more severe than originally thought. In fact, the mayor of New Orleans just said that there could be hundreds or perhaps even thousands dead in the city. Tragic to see these images of destruction. I hope your family/friends are out of harm's way mc. And here's wishing safe passage to everyone struggling through this catastrophic mess.
