Yup! I've brought gas in England. Close to $7.00 a gallon. Kind of hard for an American to get used to, but we'll have to start getting used to it more in coming years. It's actually very good public policy to keep gas taxes high. It reduces pollution and congestion and forces people to conserve. You don't see too many SUVs in Europe even today.
