What we need is for scientists to find a way to alter the paths of hurricanes or to decrease their intensity. cyclonic rotation is damaging in the Atlantic and the Pacific. Studying the patterns of temperature, pressure, convection and all the other things good meteorologists learn about will help us understand how to alter the courses of these monster storms.
