what good is it to say:

This will help take some pressure off of gas price, but our citizens must understand this storm has disrupted the capacity to make gasoline and distribute gasoline.

without providing the all important

"therefore"

as in "therefore, i ask the american people to conserve fuel in every way possible"

then list with specificity things that we can do to actually MITIGATE the situation

it is not leadership to simply state the obvious
