Some of the refineries are probably done for -- Chalmette, maybe Belle Chasse? Others, like Norco, probably just need power.

I would dearly love to hear the following questions being asked of those who are qualified to answer, to their best of their knowledge at this time..

1. Exactly how much refined product output has been curtailed?

2. What percentage of our normal daily petroleum and NG usage are we short?

3. What is the extent of damage at the downed refineries?

4. Ditto for the pipelines that deliver product from there all the way up the east coast as far as New York?

5. And what are realistic time estimates for restoration?

It's sure a lot easier to extrapolate consequences when all the facts are available..
