Ooooooo! A message from Harvey A!!! <g>

What shall I say?! ...How shall I respond!? <Hoo><Hoo><Hee>

Ah! I know... try this: <g>

I thought we were having "discussions!?!" Are you saying they need to be louder? ...Or do you want to see a move from discussion to some form of activity?

In all seriousness Harvey, I see only four "possible" means of effecting Ocean temps. The good news is that we could, in fact, effect three of them. Plus! Even if they had little effect on Ocean temps, they'd be great for rain forests and the general flora and fauna of our eco system.

But then the bad news is that implementation would kill most of us, so they're usually "discussion" killers. Nevertheless, I am always willing to listen. I just never expect to actually hear anything "actionable" on such points.

Think of the task you are facing. Look at it this way:

If I said that I was planning on developing a new community of alleged crucial industrial and transportation importance in the marshlands at the mouth of our largest waterway. And further, that I was going to do so by digging a pit 60 sq. miles wide and 30' deep; surrounding it with a levee 40' tall; and lining the whole thing with "fill" taken from every hazardous waste site up and down the watershed of said waterway...

Forget the fact that I'll need to wall up this mega river, eliminate its natural meandering channel deposits and plant my New Town right between it and a huge tidal bay masquerading as a lake.

You might think that our "discussions" would make it pretty tough to sell this "plan" wouldn't you? Well... you just try and stop me. <Hoo><Hoo>

Of course the real tone of these "discussions" is best seen in the willingness of so many "participants" to pay top dollar to be among the first residents of my mythic "New Town." It reminds me of the old debate about T-Rex... was it predator or scavenger?

Looks like we have found a new way to confirm the correct answer to that question. <vbg>
