In the last hour on CNN I saw an update from Louisiana....It was tragic...This is becoming a PR Nightmare for Bush...by the Convention Center in downtown New Orleans there are hundreds of poor citizens starving, without clean water, without hope...THEY WANT HELP NOW...Where is Bush's Army and why can't they be helping these poor people out...? This is so sad....It's like a 3rd world country down in parts of New Orleans. I hope Mr. Bush is glad we have spent over $250 Billion tax dollars on the Iraqi adventure and we still are not any safer. We have antagonized many around the world and we claim we are "the model of what democracy should be like." Yet, the Bushies run a country with tens of millions that still live in poverty with no health care coverage at all...Many of them are down south (in places like New Orleans too). Is Bush going to take charge and deploy more resources more effectively to provide relief...? Will he aknowledge we have NOT funded domestic infrastructure projects in an acceptable way...? Will he call for the rest of the nation to sacrifice to help the Gulf Coast region...? Will he call on Congress to repeal the tax cuts on the wealthy since we can't afford them in this new environment. Will Mr. Bush lead by example...?
