Would you build each spike as a vial with a lid on the end that only opens with the push of a button or with pressure? Otherwise I would think the women would be poisoned right along with her assailant. I don't think your suggestion would work Winn.........however I do agree the punishment for rape should be as direct and final.

As for possessing an antidote.......why should a woman trust the word of a rapist, and why should he be offered an antidote? Violent men remain violent and their word doesn't mean squat. If someone is willing to bargain with her attacker she had better be prepared to be looking over her shoulder for the rest of her life. Men who condone rape and regard women as little more than chattel will always be on the side of a rapist, and women that try to thwart them will be marked in some primitive way. She'll be branded a witch, sorcerer, insane and ostracized or gotten rid of. Just take a look at what the idiot men in the ME.....and other places....do to women that are raped.

I don't think the dog food route would work. Dogs would acquire a taste for human flesh and become just as predatory as a rapist. Goodbye dogs. A rapist might as well eat their prey too for the damage they cause.
