i'm sorry sidney, but your statement is not correct. if there is no Church existing with all the truth, then Christ is a liar. for Christ founded a Church, which is called "the pillar and ground of the truth". (1 Tim 3:15) our Savior promised the gates of hades would NEVER prevail against his Church. so this True Church must exist even at his appearing, holy and blameless, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)
Christ's Church is his body, and he is the head of the body. Christ is holy and blameless and so is his spotless Church. if you are not joined to Christ's Church, you are not joined to Christ, for they are no more twain, but one flesh. what therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
now, because many false prophets are gone out into the world, we must try the spirits to see whether they are of God. since we are in the last times, there is much confusion and thousands of heretical churches out there to lead us astray.
For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you. (1 Corinthians 11:19)
one way we show our faith is by recognizing that God is true and he is with us always, even unto the end of the age.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (John 14:14)
if you haven't found Christ's true Church, the one, holy, catholic (universal), and apostolic Church of Christ, then you simply have not asked enough, you have not sought enough, you have not knocked loud enough, you have not asked with enough faith.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. (James 1:6-7)
