Whipsaw and Stingray: Where were you guys when the Russell, Amex, and Nasdaq were hitting new highs. Now you SISSIES come out after a nice down day! You guys are gutless herd animals! Face the music, good or bad! At least Bobby maintained his Beara status while showing some pragmatism while Arik kept his convictions and maintained dialogue.
Congratulations today, but you still need to break to new lows; and you know what that means: a close below 7600. I suppose it's academic before it happens, but this bear market in the large caps and S@P will be very different from previous bears. This bull was mostly a nifty 50 affair. This bear will likewise be the same. Meaning: the stocks that did not take off during the last 2.75 years will take off in the midst of the bear. This is for you Arik: If the Bull market advance was uneven over the last 2.75 years, so will the bear market decline that began in August! That we could be in the beginning of a Bear Market while small stocks just rallied to new highs ( and hardly got hurt today ) is very strange and a RETRACEMENT to the most recent Bull activity. We are on new ground here. It is a very uneven market.
