<why can't they fix the levy right now with a huge temporary blockade. Last I heard they were using sandbags, that won't work. But a huge cement structure of some sort should be possible. I'm not hearing anything, its like they just gave up> Theres no point in fixing the levee right now. Water level on each side has reached equilibrium. Get the people out, then bring in somebody with a clue to fix the levee.
