All he said was: "Don't buy gas unless you have too". It sounds national to me but then again he said it with a good ole boy accent so it may have been regional.

Actually, now that I've read CJ's post........he may have meant gouging and not rationing; in other words, don't fill up 55 gallon drums with gas. Where the hell do people find 55 gal. drums? And why do they think that's clever?
