If I saw a major widening of credit spreads, that would be a flight to safety move, and might justify a Treasury rally. But, right now this looks like just another reflation rally. I actually agree more with Fillmore's observations on this. So when you shake your head at his posts, most of the time, you should also be shaking your head at mine, because my view is close to his. Both gold and Treasuries which have potential for a safety rally, are once going up for different reasons, bets on easy money. I don't see this as a deflation cause and effect at all.
