I can also see the possibility of a running triangle, starting at the 2004 top. In this case we would be somewhere in Wave "E".

That was a NAS/NDX option, but can't be an SPX option at this stage.

I think the move from Aug 3 is probably an ABC A wave followed by a B wave up in the last few days.
