A lot of cities don't even issue flashlights to their police, do you really think they'd issue hundreds or thousands of $600(minimum) phones with $600/yearly service (minimum) fees?

If I were still running my business, I would have a satellite phone. Use it as my cell phone and it would be worth every penny in an emergency. I watched an NBC reporter dial a refugee's daughter tonight and let her talk to her.

I make about 4 phone calls a month now. :>)
