Kerry would never commit the sins of Bush-Cheney. He never would have even begun to allow the abuses and lax ethical and fiscal standards of Bush-Cheney. Kerry would be actively prosecuting gas gougers. He would really care about the people. Would fund Homeland Security in ways which bolster actual realistic security. Would clamp down on polluters and election fraud. Would bring our troops home from Iraq and only attack real terrorism. And would gradually try to balance our budget, do away with deficits, tax the rich again, boost clean fuels, make peace with the world community again, and would basically CARE a great deal more in a very honest and common sense fashion.

All of this would help 90% of Americans, most Republicans included. Only the Halliburtons and Exxons of the world would be unhappy. And maybe some of the Pat Robertson zealots. But those people had their chance and blew it.

Kerry would beat Bush in a landslide today. By 25%. What a national tragedy Bush got back into office despite all his greedy insider deals and dirty tricks.

Good to see Bill O'Reilly calling for windfall profits taxes on oil companies today. Boy is that overdue. Someone has to pay for this mess and they are the real looters in our society. Poor blacks may have stolen some TV's in New Orleans, but Bushie oil companies have ripped off hundreds of billions. Maybe as much as a trillion bucks. Enough to rebuild ten cities of New Orleans.
