As a very long time holder of PHXS, I received a rather interesting call from one of my Brokers today.
He claims the brothers (that worked the silver market several years ago) financed PHXS sometime ago and got shares in return that they can buy at a 20% discount to the current price. I thought the price was always set, so if the price went down the financer would have to sit until a rise in the price.
But from what he said, they can get stock and sell it the same day for a 20% profit. I asked if they had a one year holding period, he said NO. So, they have been the sellers, get more stock and sell it lower, it makes no difference to them, because of the 20% markup.
I expressed doubt that Soros would have let them finance because he would know the way they work and it would drag the price down.
Anyone know if this is possible???
