I told my Sunday school class one day that the greatest truth a Christian can reach is to stop believing in God.( they looked stunned ) and start believing that God in is them. Many religions teach that God is in all things. Living and non living. Such is not the truth. The Holy Spirit indwells believers of Jesus Christ. All believers. The enemy would have them believe otherwise. All intercession begins in heaven. We have two intercessors. Jesus and the Holy Spirit.Romans 8:26 "Likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities.And he that searcheth the hearts ( Jesus ) knoweth what is the mind of the spirit." I've always said its not the sincerity of your belief but the object of your faith. I look at the Orthodox faith and my grandfather and father grew up in that faith and both of them were adequately prepared for life on this earth and life eternally through the teachings of that faith, as adhering to a strict doctrine that as you say can be construed as the most original doctrine.
