re: You expect problems and you want to be patient with the disaster people because its not an easy job.......but this stuff is just plain outrageous and can not be ignored. And the cost has been huge. It's not the disaster people, the FEMA "old hands" are complaining as well. As CJ said, FEMA has been gutted, and political cronies, rather than competent professionals, have been put in charge. You multiply that by the lack of funds to fix the levee system, and it's criminal misconduct. Right now, they need to make the best of a horrific situation. But later, they sure as hell better hold some people responsible... though I wouldn't hold my breath. This is the age of political irresponsibility without consequences. John
