But I did think that you might be a freethinker but I see that was my mistake and now I realize that you are just another secular liberal of the common variety.

I learned long ago that a confirmed atheist is as doctrinaire as any other fundamentalist, as dogmatic as any Seventh Day Adventist, Mormon or Hindu Brahmin. And after all, why not for after all Atheism is a "belief system" and an adherent must accept it all or none. But just like the person who accepts that the "Earth is flat" if so required as part of his liturgy, then the atheist is surely not a freethinker, for he must be careful not to violate any of the tenents of his atheist belief system.
