We had a good amount of wind for a "category 1".

We can't complaint. Were without power for a few days, but didn't cause much of a problem since we moved to a condo by the beach which had power so the only thing I missed for a few days was the cable modem. (Had to use a dial up connection again.<g>)

With 20/20 hind side vision,I think Katrina's damage & floods in New Orleans could be expected the way it behaved after it left Florida and NO's problems with the levees.
