Nothing that has ever happened in MS or FLA has even come close to the level of the NO situation.

Did you know that half the NO police force has quit? I thought when someone said that yesterday that it was a bit of sarcasm. However, its true.......roughly half have turned in their badges.

In addition, today they have estimated that 350K housing units have been damaged or destroyed in the city of NO alone. That's huge. Meanwhile the Corp of Army Engineers had concluded that with the present levee system, they thought NO was 99.5% safe. I guess Katrina hit the .5% fail rate.
