Other comments by West: "They're saying black families are looting and white families are just looking for food...they're giving the (Army) permission to shoot us" OK well I will say this. Anybody who saw Primetime last night saw 2 identical photos (almost). One was a white couple wading out of a grocery store with a bag of food (hard to see what is in the bag but you can see cereal boxes etc through the plastic) and then a black man with what appeared to be the same type of cargo (a 6-pack of pepsi for sure). Again of course you could not see what was in the plastic bags for either picture. The caption for the white person was something like "victim searches desperately for food" and for the black man was "looters in NO". That was a pretty strong statement of racism, to me.
