you are really quite the apologist for this disaster, and I have no idea why. Anyway, you missed the ENTIRE POINT of my post, and for that matter the Primetime reporting. Let me spell it out for you. "Looting" is a term used to apply to advantageous stealing during wartime. It implies something more than food and water is being taken. Hardly anyone would report someone taking food and water as "looting". It is a very harsh way to describe the activity and it just so happened this description applied to a black man. To make a fine line distinction that one individual (the WHITE person) just "picked up" the food which was floating in the water, obviously after being dislodged from the shelves of the store 2 ft away- vs. another individual (the BLACK man) walking into a store and taking food off the shelves, is just ridiculous. Did the white guy actually PAY for this booty? After all Bush says "zero tolerance". What a crock.
