Yes, semi's look soggy, and agree, Stocks are all over the place, bullish, bearish or neutral depending on where you look

It is still possible that last week's rally was a Flat (or part of a larger correction). Could be that the market "tried" to climb the "wall of worry" all week... but this may not last. (That said, if $SPX shoots up towards the mid-1220's, that would get my attention).

As I recall, it was Marty Zweig who observed that negative market action on a day before a major holiday is a bearish sign. It is possible that the public mood is, after all, rolling over.
