thanks smithers I want to tell everyone a bit about my father he is a very quiet man, retiring and timid polite and gentlemanly a bookworm, a coin and stamp collector a widow now retired, a gardener in his beloved courtyard a walker, he walks endlessly around city park, sitting by the sculpture gardens, reading books - walking the quarter, browsing book shops and art galleries - coffee'ing at the cafes very much a renaissance man, his interests and pursuits grow every year, now deep into genealogy - he amazes me so many people have called me about him, even people he only briefly met up here, knowing he is a new orleans man, concerned about him when I tell him that, he will be so touched
