Ted, S&P has changed their outlook for 1997. Thay have maintained their four star rating but admitted to a loss (.25, I think) for '97 and a .40 gain for '98. I've been reading this thread since I liquidated my position in SCNG the last time it went to 4.00 (June, I think). I'm happy for all holders. I especially enjoyed the post (a few back) that puts Osterwise in an overseas trading account. SHORT ALERT SHORT ALERT. Because this has been such a predictable trading stock, shorts have jumped on and off the wagon every time it has made a move. This kind of hypothetical musing and rumor mongering is the short's way of protecting his position. SCNG is not supposed to close at 4 7/8. I'll bet there is a lot of discomfort in the short camp right now. Good luck to everyone. Ed Ryder, your patience is paying off. Jerry Rush, if you sell now, the shorts will go bankrupt <G>...whatever you do, don't add to your position. Mike H., wherever you are, you were indeed an inspiration. Tom
