Well, needless to say many do. Of course there are hardened right wingnuts who will say no matter what happens that Bush and FEMA did a perfect job of managing the crisis. But people beleive what they see with their own eyes. Very few governmental agencies or leaders distinguished themselves in this...the ones that DID are the Wildlife and Fisheries department folks who are doing house-to-house rescue, the National Guard once they got into town, the director of emergency response for Jefferson Parish, Walter Maestri who's been vocal in warning about the inadequacies of the plans to date, and the medical people at Charity hospital as well as the EMS guys. I'm sure a lotta the NOPD performed well, but planning by the police was a mess. Looting needed to be contained immediately, that's why you now have well-armed gangs roving the streets, alotta those weapons (certainly not all) were looted.
