Dr. Shai Meretzki, Founder, CEO/ CTO – Dr. Meretzki received his PhD. in biotechnology from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. His research work was conducted at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology in cooperation with the Weizmann Institute of Science, under the supervision of renowned scientists, Dr. Avinoam Kadouri, Prof. Dov Zipori and Dr. Shosh Merchav, marking the launching of developmental work on the bioreactor. A reserve captain in the Israeli Defense Forces, Dr. Meretzki holds five publications and one patent. Dr. Meretzki is also a chemical engineer and has performed extensive biological and chemical R&D for various companies and organizations in Israel.
Yossi Keret, CFO - Before joining Pluristem in May 2004, Mr. Keret acted as CFO of M.L.L. Software and Computers Industries Ltd. (TASE:MLL) where he oversaw the company’s three subsidiaries. Prior to M.L.L. he was CFO of Internet-Zahav Group, Ltd. (NASDAQ:IGLD) the leading Israeli ISP with revenues in excess of $45 million, 900 employees and three subsidiaries. As CFO of Top Image Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ:TISA), Mr. Keret directed all activities that led to a NASDAQ listing, formulated systems which increased sales growth 60% during his 5 year term and opened branches and subsidiaries in Europe and USA. He began his career at Kost Forer and Gabai Accountants – a member of E&Y International.
Mr. Keret holds a B.A. from Haifa University in Economics and Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel and is working toward an M.B.A. from Heriot-Watt University. hw.ac.uk
