Glenn, Who are the normal investors in these Blank Check IPOs? Pension funds, hedge funds, mutual funds, super rich private investors, Russian mobsters, Columbian drug kingpins, any idea?? Come to think of it, it does sound like a decent way to launder a hell of a lot of money. Perhaps the mobster investors have an agreement with the management teams that they shouldn't invest any of the proceeds, and then when they get their dirty money back in 18 months it looks entirely cleansed?
