There was another announcement a couple of days ago. I have not found ao copy of it on the web anywhere, but I saw it on a Bloomberg terminal. Basically, Logicon put out a list of vendors under its I-CASE contract that will allow any government agency to buy products from the companies at substantial discounts. Among the companies listed, besides New Dimension, were CA, Oracle, Informix, and so on. Anyway, it is simply more exposure for us to the entire government procurement arena. FYI.

DDDDF is holding up GREAT in this lousy market. SEVERAL of the larger cap stocks I follow, including Johnson & Johnson, Abbott Labs, Cisco, 3Com, Monsanto, IBM, Coke, Corning and MANY more, and the indicies, are looking lousy. I am seeing bonafide downtrends in several of these companies, some having broken important descending triangle patterns, or testing the support levels within the triangles. I don't know how low the market can go, but it is looking pretty ugly. Nice, powerful up move days have no follow through, and we are slowly losing ground. New D, and other small cap stocks, could really see their turn on the gravy train come soon if the broad market continues to sag. (Not that we in New D have not already had a great run, but I don't think it is ANYWHERE near over.) People may run for cover from a bear market in the big stocks, but they are not going to run and hide in the money market funds, nor in wimpy bonds. We the investing public still hunger for big returns, and will look for it in small caps. In my opinion, the small caps will continue to see gains, while the large caps will see some weakness. But hey, I could be wrong. Later.
