Politics is largess, and catastrophes are distractions from that largess. We've spent billions on Homeland Security but no policy for states to pick up prisoners in an event of this kind....so they let em out so they can rob steal and rape.....the local response to this event was the worst ever, Im talking the political leadership, not the first responders.. me thinks it exposes all these empty suits to the light of day both sides of the isle, at all levels.

We ought to have an annual HINDSIGHT DAY and demand all the politicians wear a Sign

" Hey I am an empty suit, I was put here because I could get elected by a minority of voters, sorry, I wasnt put here for REAL Problems, my art my talent is spending your money while you sleep."

Hindsight Day....now there is a concept......the dialog which postures blame as if its ping pong game is truly disgusting the rest of us.

Political parties routinely put glossed candidates with silver tounges up as electable. Many are just plain incompetant, and we all know it.

Politics is largess, we need to move beyond it.......A good place to start,? Recognize that the political parties are control mechanism for political largess. A good first step is to reject the notion that somethings wrong with the country; the countries just fine, its the politics of the parties that have overstayed their welcome.

The Non Voting Majority has been right all along.
