RDW, I am sure your ears (eyes? fingers?) must have been burning this past week, as you and your father were the subject of many PM discussions. We were all very concerned about his health and safety and the worry that was bringing to bear on you.

I think it unconscionable that Holiday Inn would just slam him onto a bus and not tell corporate headquarters or RDW where that bus might be headed, the name of the bus company, or anything else that would have helped her get to her father sooner. Remember, they tossed their guests out this past Tuesday. Very poor form, and I will never say otherwise.

The above PM was written before I saw your post to which I am replying. Knowing now what Holiday Inn did, no matter how it tries to justify its outrageous actions, I am beyond shock at its callous disregard for your father's safety and well being, not to mention your state of mind. Its behavior was abysmally irresponsible. I must now add to the above that I will make it a point to never again stay in a Holiday Inn.

I am sure you both are looking forward to a wonderful evening, replete with a great dinner and much catching up. I guess you are prolly on your way out to find him a dress shirt to replace the flowered one, right? - Holly
