Many, many economists and special interest political organizations have sifted the data to try and quantify claims such as your's above.

They have found NOTHING to support such wild claims.))

My grandmother had three small farms, my mother had to sell one to pay the taxes to keep the others. When my mother died I had to sell off a portion to keep the rest. The land was given by Presidents Polk and Taylor for my ancestors support during the Mexican War. The original deeds say to XXX and his heirs. Didn't say it could be taxed at every death transfer.
