The unidentified senior Bush official strikes again...

It seems this masked man is going around and telling media outlets that the governor of Louisiana never got around to declaring a state of emergency, thus hampering what FEMA could do. Even if true, this would be irrelevant because the National Response Plan allows FEMA to render aid if it sees a disaster unfolding. But, in fact, it isn't true. She sent a letter to Bush on the 28th declaring a state of emergency.

Hmm, wanna bet that Rove is in charge of the White House responses?
