It's population has doubled overnight so not a surprise. Plus demand for rentals will be incredible as the federal gov't will most likely be funding everything from rent to clothing, food and furnishings for the refugees. So far in Houston it seems 100% occupancy for lower grade apartments is assured. Whether this kicks off the expected boom I've been calling for is still too early. More than likely Baton Rouge and Houston also benefit the most for many years to come from capital flow in infrastructure rebuilding needed in the area.
