Red states and blue states are all turning a similar shade of purple.

I think that now is the time for a wealthy independent to come in and sweep up the muck. Do you think Donald Trump would have fired the incompetents the moment they screwed up? Of course, real life situations are far different than staged TV shows. But it makes you wonder. We need that loose cannon John Wayne type to come in and shake things up. I think the person could only run as an independent.

While it may not have been possible to win on an independent ticket before, things are rapidly changing in America. I don't believe it possible that a "give 'em hell Harry" can be nominated by one of the two parties. And that is why I believe the shade of states is quickly turning purple.

And the rumor I am hearing from truck drivers across the country is that, if gas prices continue higher (and possibly if they don't), they will park their trucks. The independent drivers are saying they can no longer make a profit. They comprise a VERY large group, capable of slowing down the entire economy. Such a move would likely spark a response by the National Guard (if any are still available). Such an event could lead to a very interesting winter.

I am glad I still have my Y2K supplies.

People are simply fed up with politics. American citizens anger when fellow American citizens are in pain. The common PEOPLE of the U.S. are united in spirit, with little regard for what is politically correct.

Don't mess with our Americans, black-brown-white-red-yellow or green. Don't neglect them. Don't mistreat them. Don't abuse them. And don't treat them with indignity.
