To All: Does anyone undestand the decision algorithm used by the E-trade Second Opinion? How is SCORE computed? How are the BUY/HOLD/SELL/OVERBOUGHT etc. outcomes determined?

Are their any people involved or is this a series of calculations based upon dynamic input parameters? What is the sensitivity of the recommendations to the major input parameters and why do the recommendations change rapidly from day to day?

For example WSTL recommendations changed dramatically:
On September 3 the stock closed at $23.63 amd the opinion was Neutral and the Recommendation was that "the stock is not a buy candidate". The Score was 2.

On September 10, the stock closed at $24.38 and while the opinion remained neutral, the recommendation was that the "stock is an early entry buy candidate if the stock closes above $20.80" The Score was 4.

On September 11, the stock closed at $26.00 and the opinion changed to Long and the recommendation changed to "the stock is a Buy." The Score was 0.

I do not understand the relationships between the data and the recommendations. Could someone explain this? Thanks.
