I stand corrected! Well, then the only explanation for the rampant violence is that they people left in NO were the poor, which statistically has a higher crime rate, which lead to the violence we see there as the chaos escalated.

Some of the people left were druggies. They were off their drug of choice. That makes them very mean. They were a large part of the crowd that were committing the serious crimes. Not defending them....just explaining. The raping and murdering was inexcusable.......the looting of tvs and jewelry was inexcusable. The looting for food and medicines I have no problem with.

As far as listening to Fox, I don't. I think it is a fairly biased news organization. My primary news sources are the BBC and CNN, but I read alot of other stuff that comes out of AP and Reuters as well. Sometimes, those may have been sourced from Fox, as this one evidently was, but that doesn't make me a Fox news watcher.

Okay. I've just heard some weird things coming out of Fox this week.....per usual......and I figured that's where you got this story from..... a search shows where this article has been.......to every rightwing blog and website on the net. This is why I don't trust the right.......they will run with anything that fits their mindset without checking the facts. This is a very, very serious allegation. It makes me sick.
