Hmm, wanna bet that Rove is in charge of the White House responses? Sounds good to me. We know he likes to lie. The problem for Rove now is that Americans are likely to suspect Bush is the liar. he and his cronies have been caught lying too many times in the past. Hence he has an uphill battle trying to discredit Blanco and Landrieux. And, making matters worse for Rove, Blanco et al are unwilling to keep quiet while he is trying to smear them. The utter gall of them! A perfect ending to this story would be an announcement of his indictment sometime in September. That's all I want for XMAS this year.
