Anything to cover up for GW's blunders and lies. The rightwing never gives up trying to apologize for this greedy, selfish dunce of a president who is driving this entire country into a ditch the size of the Grand Canyon. He can do no wrong, according to them, and truth-tellers and victims are always to blame. What ever happened to honest conservatism? Remember the days when Goldwater called for smaller government? When Gingrich demanded balanced budgets? When GW promised he would never nation build? When Bush Sr. said outing CIA agents was treason? When Cheney promised to force OPEC to lower gas prices? These new Bush neocons are a real piece of work. They betray all the best conservative principals and pander to all the worst ones. Greedy, gouging, corruption, lying, needless wars, sexism, racism, class warfare, pin-headed fundamentalism, pollution, spending like drunken sailors and avoiding reality like there's no tomorrow. Goldwater had something very different in mind for conservatism. Lincoln had something much better in mind for the GOP. And our FOunding Fathers had something much more honorable in mind when they invented this democracy.
