about $750 million in federal emergency and terrorism preparedness grants That was terrorism money only. Come on, now they are putting the word "emergency" in the front of it as if this money was ever earmarked for natural disasters of any kind. Personally I think terrorism is less of a danger to the US than natural disasters so I consider most of the homeland security money to be a waste.
