Facts are facts regardless of the source. I guess you'll withhold judgment until Maureen Dowd or Krugman publish a timeline in the NYT? Don't hold your breath.

Fact is, the LA governor did not activate the LA guard, and did not ask for help until what, Wednesday?

Fact is, the State had an emergency plan that was not implemented.

Fact is, there were enough buses in New Orleans to evacuate 10-15,000 people, and they all sat empty and became waterlogged.

Yes, FEMA is to be faulted, but the first line of defense in a disaster such as this is the State and Local government.

Let me ask you this, if a disaster befell your town, in what order would you rely on help from the following:

1) Federal Government
2) Local Government, including city and county
3) State Government
4) Yourself

Too bad you are so willing to blame the administration.

Are you one of those who think Bush is responsible for Katrina because the United States did not sign onto the Kyoto Accords?
