Lizzie, have you heard of the recent multi-year housing and job boom in the DC area? Have you checked any stock charts of certain types of tech companies since 9/11? Your tax dollars are going into homeland-security tech jobs, whether you realize it or not, and whether you believe it or not. I don't know whether you consider this homeland security investment to be pork, but it has been providing plenty of jobs for tech-savvy employees. So.......how, exactly, do you define pork?
