this is the reason katrina will enhance the decision as to where they bb's will retire. i understand NO was not a destination. but the point is prior to tihs hurricane the decision as to where to go when retirement arrives, for many, it was not even on the radar screen.

now, because of the needed consideration to both the way natural disasters could affect your destination AND the fiscal fitness of the community will be the first two things most people will think about in their decision making.

prior to this event, it is my opinion that these considerations -while important, they were not critical, particularly the second one... fiscal responsibility of the localities considered.

i think LV is getting to the point of being priced out (in terms of opportunities outside of LV) but then again, such has been said before.... just mo.
